Can't Boil Water 2.0

You only THINK you can't cook

Pomegranate Cooler

This refreshing drink is loaded with antioxidants from the pomegranate juice. It’s great in warm weather, but also makes a wonderful non-alcoholic drink for holiday parties. Serve in non-colored glasses to show off the deep red color.

Ingredients

(Makes 4 glasses)

  • 16 oz pomegranate juice
  • 4 oz fresh squeezed lemon juice
  • 1 tsp orange blossom water
  • 1/4 cup sugar (optional, see preparation below)
  • 20 oz club soda
Ingredient Note: You can find orange blossom water in the foreign food section of your favorite supermaket. If you can’t find it there, try a local European or Middle Eastern market or deli. Pomegranate juice can be found at most supermarkets (just ask), and the most popular brand is Pom.

Preparation

Mix all ingredients except the club soda in a pitcher, until the sugar dissolves. Pour into a glass, just under half way (about 5 oz.), add ice cubes, then slowly add 5 oz. of club soda, stirring slowly.

Optional: instead of sugar and club soda, try using diet 7-up instead for a sugar-free version of the drink.

I absolutely loved this wonderful fruity drink. I love pom products and the
antioxidants are actually quite healthy for any human or animal digestive system and bowel movements.
